Google has announced what the firm calls “The greatest design update in years for Android,” with a revised user interface scheduled for Android 12. The IT giant has also announced enhancements and updates for Android 12’s speed, privacy and multi-device experience in 2021.

All features are expected to be released on Android 12 and probably pretty shortly (with the Pixel phones getting it on day one). Why it is named Android 12?
